The Becoming Method
Identity transformation coaching for high-achievers who are successful on paper — and privately, quietly unfulfilled. The problem was never the strategy. It's the identity underneath it.
"Become whoThe Becoming Method
you decide to be."
The Real Problem
Most self-help works at the surface. Set better goals, take more action, build better habits. And for a while it works — until it doesn't. Until you're back where you started, wondering what's wrong with you.
Nothing is wrong with you. The strategy was just never the problem.
The problem is the identity still running underneath. The beliefs built before you had a say. The version of yourself that isn't yours — but still drives every decision you make.
The Foundation
Lasting change begins with who you believe yourself to be. We don't just help you set goals — we help you become the version of yourself capable of sustaining them.
Familiar is not the same as right. Staying because you know what to expect feels like security. It is a slow drain. The cost of staying is invisible — until it isn't.
Most self-help treats symptoms. Real change requires digging into what created the person you are today — the beliefs, the patterns, what you're still calling comfort that is actually a cage.
There's a turning point in every transformation: when you stop being the victim of your circumstances and start owning your role in them. That's where everything changes.
Ready?
This work is quiet, deep, and real. It doesn't promise a shortcut. It promises a shift that actually sticks.
A Work In Progress
The Story Behind The Work
For most of my adult life, I did what I was told to do. School, corporate, the ladder. The income was enough to feel comfortable. It wasn't a bad life by the metrics most people use. But underneath it, something was dying.
I stayed not because I loved it — but because I feared the alternative. The job became a security blanket, and eventually, an excuse. My real life sat half-built on the side while I told myself I just wasn't ready yet.
Then came my children. Suddenly paying someone else to raise them while I worked hours I didn't choose, for a life that didn't fit — it felt not just wrong, but impossible. That clarity lit something in me that wouldn't go out.
"The floor dropped out, and instead of falling, I felt free."
What followed wasn't an overnight transformation. It was a reckoning. I stopped blaming outside forces. I stopped performing the identity I'd been handed. I started building from who I actually was — not who I'd been told to be.
I am still in the middle of that story. And that matters — because so are the people I work with. This isn't coaching from a pedestal. It's coaching from the terrain.
The Becoming Method was built from that lived experience — from a decade of performing an identity that was never mine, and from the slow, real work of finding the one that is. That's not just backstory. That's the credential.
The Approach
The work happens upstream of the career change, the business launch, the pivot. We're not here to build your strategy. We're here to shift who you believe yourself to be. What you build from there is entirely yours.
This is not a space for performing growth. It's a space for actually doing it. That means honesty — about where you are, what's keeping you there, and what it will take to leave it. Truth first, always.
Quick fixes might get attention. They don't create transformation. Real change is deep, sometimes slow, and always worth it. This work is for people ready to do what actually works — not what looks good on a before-and-after.
When one person transforms, it radiates outward. Into their relationships, their parenting, their community, their work. The mission isn't individual success. It's the energy that one real transformation creates in everything around it.
Take the First Step
Let's talk. No pressure, no pitch. Just a real conversation about where you are and where you want to go.
Work With Me
Every offer is designed around one idea: before you can build a life that fits, you have to become someone different enough to live it. We start there.
Premium Coaching
12-Week Program
This is the core of the work. Over 12 weeks, we go beneath the goals, the plans, and the external pressures — to the identity beliefs that have been running the show. We uncover what was handed to you, and we begin building what's actually yours.
This is not goal-setting. It's not business coaching. It's the internal shift that makes everything else sustainable. If you've tried the books, the programs, the habits — and keep ending up in the same place — this is why, and this is what actually changes it.
Self-Paced Course
$297
For those who want to do this work on their own terms, but with more structure and depth than the journal alone offers. The Becoming Method is a self-paced course that walks you through the same foundational identity work at the heart of 1:1 coaching — without needing to wait for a session or fit into someone else's schedule.
This is for the person who's ready to go deep, learn at their own pace, and revisit the material as many times as they need. You'll move through guided video lessons and a companion workbook designed to help you uncover the identity you've been operating from — and begin building the one you're choosing instead.
Self-Guided Practice
Available on Amazon · $34.99
A 90-Day Identity Practice — a guided journal for individuals ready to do the deeper work on their own terms and timeline. Designed to move through the same foundational identity questions as the coaching work, at your own pace.
This is not a gratitude journal or a goal planner. It's 90 days of honest, intentional self-inquiry — structured to help you understand what identity you've been living from, and begin consciously choosing a new one.
Common Questions
No. Coaching and therapy are different. Therapy often explores and processes the past. Coaching moves forward from a different sense of self. This work bridges both directions — understanding where you came from in order to consciously choose where you're going — but it is not clinical mental health support.
No — and honestly, that expectation is part of what keeps people stuck. A lot of clients come in thinking they know what they want, only to discover that vision was still shaped by someone else's expectations. Getting clear on what you actually want is part of the work.
No. The work is identity-level — it applies to anyone who feels like the life they're living doesn't fit who they actually are. That might show up as career burnout, but it also shows up in relationships, parenting, creative work, and the quiet feeling that something essential is missing.
Most coaching works at the level of behavior, goals, and strategy. This work goes underneath those to the identity beliefs driving them. It's the difference between rearranging furniture and rebuilding the foundation. Both matter — but only one creates lasting change.
That uncertainty is actually a good sign — it means you're taking it seriously. The only real prerequisite is that you're willing to be honest: about where you are, what's keeping you there, and what it would actually take to change it. If that's you, we can talk.
It's a real conversation — not a sales call. We talk about where you are, what's not working, and what you'd want to be true instead. You'll leave with clarity regardless of whether we work together. No pressure, no pitch.
The First Step
Start with a conversation. See what becomes possible when someone meets you where you actually are.
Transformations
This is not a highlight reel. These are real accounts of what happens when someone stops performing the identity they were handed, and starts living from the one they chose.
In Their Words
"I kept thinking the problem was my job, my city, my circumstances. After this work I realized I was the same person I'd always been, just in different settings. The shift that happened in how I see myself — I can't undo it, and I wouldn't want to."James — Career Transition, 34
"I had done all the 'right' things — journaling, therapy, every book on the bestseller list. None of it stuck. What changed here was that we went to the layer underneath all of that. The place I didn't know I needed to look."Liz — Corporate to Entrepreneur, 39
"What struck me was that this isn't about motivation. I didn't need more motivation — I needed a different relationship with who I thought I was. That's exactly what happened. And it happened quietly, not all at once."Laura — Working Parent, 31
"I remember saying 'I know I'm meant for more, I just don't know how to get there.' And the answer wasn't a plan. It was looking honestly at who I'd been being — and deciding, for the first time, who I actually wanted to be."Shareen — Life Reinvention, 42
"I expected a coach who would tell me what to do. Instead I got someone who helped me see what I already knew but kept burying. That's a different thing entirely — and it's what actually changed."Chloe — Identity Shift, 28
"The journal alone changed my mornings. I started to notice the stories I was telling myself — and that I had a choice about which ones I kept. That's not a small thing. That's everything."Kelsey - Quiet Reinvention Journal Reader
The Process
Every transformation is different. But the territory has a shape. Here's what the arc tends to look like.
Before anything can change, something has to be seen. We begin by mapping the identity you've been operating from — the beliefs, the patterns, the version of yourself that was built before you had a say in it. This isn't blame. It's clarity.
Once you can see what you've been running from — and what you've been running toward — we begin to question it. Which of those beliefs are actually yours? Which were handed to you? Which feel like safety but act like a cage?
A new identity isn't decided once. It's practiced. This stage is about beginning to act from the new self-concept — making decisions, having conversations, and showing up in the world as the version of yourself you're choosing, not the one you were assigned.
The old identity stops feeling like home. The new one stops feeling like effort. That's the point — not a destination, but a foundation. From here, whatever you choose to build, you build from a real self rather than a performed one.
The Shifts We Celebrate
Not "made six figures." Not "hit my goal weight." The wins here look quieter — and go deeper.

Most people who reach out aren't sure yet. They're curious, or tired, or they read something that hit too close to home. That's enough. That's actually where this work starts — not from certainty, but from honesty.
If you're waiting until you're "ready" — you may be waiting for something that only arrives after you begin.
